I grew up in a family of builders. My father was an architect and my uncle and cousins were fine home builders.

I've always been fascinated with how things work. By things I mean the physical mechanisms that make things go, the minute design details that create appeal, and the relationships of objects in a larger system.

In my years growing up, I spent hours in my father's office watching him design dream homes and in the garage tinkering with things. This led to larger projects like building a pool deck, installing a tile floor, and even installing a paver patio for my father's client.

I eventually received a degree in Landscape Architecture and while I didn't pursue it as a career Landscape Architecture formed the foundation for how I approach digital product design.
